In 1994 the Govt. of Maharashtra and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), give permission to Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha to start Priyadarshini Polytechnic which has been recognized by All India Council of Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and the institute is affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, (MSBTE) Mumbai.
Priyadarshini Polytechnic has envisioned adequate infrastructure, world class library, classrooms, and state-of-the-art laboratories with internet, excellent computer centre, sports, and canteen, bus and necessary facilities for the students and the staff.
